The more this cake gets decorated means the closer we're getting to Christmas which makes me very excited indeed!!
After covering in marzipan last week I then left the cake for a couple of days to let the marzipan dry out before I applied the white sugarpaste. It helps to lightly rub the marzipan with water so the sugarpaste will stick properly and then its just a case of smoothing, smoothing and more smoothing to get a flawless finish.
Now just to finalise and make the decorations!
